Amp Question

Does anyone know what ohm load an amp reads if there are no speakers hooked up to(if any). even if you have evrything hooked up except the speaker wire it still produces power right?

To get power you need current (P=IV) and to get that you'll need a complete circuit. If there is nothing hooked up, then there is no loop and thus no power.
