Amp Protect Light is on...

I have a power audio amp, and all of a sudden, after 2 years, it just stopped working...

i looked @ it and the protect light is on...

i tried unhooking all of the wires and hooking them up one by one, and I noticed that the protect light only pops on when the ground wire and/or the remote wire is connected...

i dont think its a bad ground because when i unhook the ground from the metal, the protect light goes on, but when I get a good connection, the protect light comes back on....

the power light wont come back on either...just the protect...

any ideas wut is wrong???

oh, and all my fuses are ok...none are blown...

From everything you have done, it sounds like you have an internal amp problem.
