Amp Problems

I have an Audioque 1200d running 2 2 RE Audio ***. Lately when playing my stereo at about 15 the 1200d power hits low and then loud. It sounds like it shorting out but it stills play just doesn't hit like it supposed. I checked all connections and can't see to figure out what's going on. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am I needing a new amp. What are good alternatives. Something that I don't have to pay alot of cheese for.

Where is your gain set and what HU?

PIONEEER AVIC-Z120BT. I have the gain set half way.

Set your gain like this, and see if it helps..

Bass boost off and HU bass set to 0.. Never change it

sounds like the amp isnt getting enough power. maybe your voltage is dipping.

Also what about crossovers. I have an eq and I also have on on the deck. i am unable to cut it off at the amp. Right now I have it turned all the way up and use the eq.

Set the EQ before you set the gain.. Just dont have any bass boost things on.. I set mine around 80hz

Though that was a possible problem. It just started doing it out of the blue.

Just to be sure to I have the crossover turned all the way up on the amp?
