Amp Problems

well sold a friend a massive audio d200x 2400 watt rms at 1ohm . here is the problem he is running a durlast gold and cap in the trunk wht a single run of 4 gauge wire and 80 amp alt .well when he runs it at full tilt for 30 min it shuts down could this be cuased by low voltage and makeing the amp run harder to produce power ? i told him that he does not have enuf current to run it the amp. what do you guys think i tryed to explain but he does not understand he need another battery .thx for input in advace

new alt, big 3 and battery should do the trick

i told him that! he doese not know any thing about audio he just want to bump im just trying to get people's input so he can read it he think i sold him a broken amp

well more info amp is being ran at 4ohms gains set proper it just get hot as hell go in to protect mode for a few minutes and come back on
