AMP Powering radio not CD?

SO i just re-hooked up my dads truck with his subwoofer and it works great with the radio but when I switch the head unit source to the CD Player the AMP turns off. How do I fix this so that the amp will work with the radio and the CD player?

did u hook the remote to the remote lead wire or the power att wire

Not sure, it is def acting as if I hooked it to the power att wire, since it comes on with the radio and not the CD player, I know its the blue one [weather it has the white strip on it or not, i cant remember i'll have to look] but just to save me a trip back to the computer, what is the exact color wire i should be lookin for to hook the remote to? [No need to be kind, i've done this in my car a million times, even with DVD players..etc so I know what i'm doing] My dads truck is just slightly different and I was almost positive that I got the correct wire, but like i said the way its acting i'm begining to doubt myself haha

wire into just blue wire

 

not blue and white

 

what is happening is the radio is sending signal for the power antenna to retract once the cd is in. you need constant remote so just blue.

Indeed it is, I probably should have checked it before I posted, but like i said, i coulda swore I connected it to the right one, but apparently I did not. Its all good/working now, thanks for the reinforcement for me to check I had it hooked into the right wire lol
