Hello Everyone,
I have somewhat of a wierd problem that I can't seem to figure out. I install a Alpine MRP-450 about 8 months ago into my truck. Everything was working good until about 2 days ago. I was listening to some tunes then the sub seemed to go dead. After some basic troubleshooting I knew that I was going to be spending today tring to figure out this issue. The first thing that I did was grap my multimeter to test the battery and ground leads, bingo I ran into my first issue.... when the power lead is hooked up to the amp I only get about 1 to 1.5 volts but when I remove the wire from the amp I magically get 12 volts. I have looked over all the wires and ends and everything looks great. I even went as far as pulling out the amp and hooking it up to a external power supply and I can get the amp too power up with no problem. I just can't seem to fiqure out why when the power lead from the battery is connected to the ampI only seem to get 1.5 volts or so...
Thanks for your help...
