4 gauge a nice buffer zone if you decide to upgrade later on.

Alright. And I have to run two separate power lines, one for speaker amp and one for sub amp, correct?

No if you have a 4 gauge setup you can get a distribution block and use 8 gauge wire from there.

Agreed I didnt know how big your other amp was but the 4 gauge will work but i like the kicker kit better get it on amazon.
