I cant play my system for 30 mins stright without my amp overheating... i have 2 kicker l7 12" 4ohm subs wired to 1 ohm and a viper 1200.1d... i have the amp mounted on the top left of my box, so it has air getting to it, but it that bad? i mean my car is black, and it gets pretty hot down here in texas? my gain is only at about half way and my subwoofer on my alpine deck is only at +6? what should i do

Shit happened to me all the time when I had my Alpine V12 amps.. TX is just hot..

Could use Cooling fans..

Get a different amp SS VGA 1600.2, Hifonics 1500, Orion 1200D

Another thing, I NEVER run 4 gauge if I am spitting out more than 1k.. Just me tho..
