amp overheat?

here's the scoop... i have a my shit all wired up and when i turn the bass up the amp goes into protect mode, the amp is really hot to the touch... i was thinking the amp might overheat... reply on what you guys think or if i need more info.

wheres the amp mounted? properly ventilated? gains set correctly? hope ur bass boost is off. correct ohm load? HU settings? need those answered to answer ur question.

Are you sure your amp is stable to the load you have it wired to?

well the amp is ventalated good for sure... i got 1000w subs x2 4 ohm... and a 500w mono block rated 500 at 2 ohm and i got the subs wired in paralell or that would be 2 ohm right? im fr3nch toast sorry that was my old name and i was signed on from a diff comp and didnt relize i was on that name....

welll i think that amp is a peice cause i hooked up my rockford 300w amp to them and it doesn't shut down into protect mode like the other one and i have the gains turned all the way up... idk anyhelp would be nice **** it i did it again... im signed in as fr3nch toast errrrrrrrrrr
