Amp Output Speaker Handling

I have a crunch 400.2 amp and it puts out 100 watts rms per channel i want it to power four speakers

two alpine 6x8 and two beyma 5.25 the alpine are rated for 75watts rms and the beymas at 55 rms

what would be the eaisest way to wire them to handle that amp

just go ahead and wire them in parallel, then make sure to keep your gains in check. Alot of speakers can handle alot more than they are rated for, so you may even be fine maxing the amp out on them. I'm assuming it does 100x2 @ 4ohms, and 200x2 @ 2 ohms?

yeah 100 @ 4 ohms, i looked up wiring in parallel and i think i did it on my subs but could you explain it again, the problem is that once i turn the volume up to about 25/34 the subs will cut out and the signal will sound flat

Will the crunch run @ 2 ohms? and i'd say that they deliver about half what the stated power is. but the wiring configuration is correct..... i think you'll need a different amp but who knows?

posotive to posotive and negative to negative to each speaker ( or each set so that the amp gets a 2 ohm load per channel) this can be done at the amp or at the speakers...sometimes easier to do it with the speaker wires when hooking them into the amp....

i am in the market for a new amp but the crunch is the smallest i have and im dying to get some good door sound i have to get rid of some stuff first

but ill try it out first thing in the morning and see how everything sounds
