Amp, or something else?

Well, actually I'm pretty sure it's not the amp. I'll post of a pic of it's internals later.

Friend of mine has two 10w1v2's in a stealth box, and had a 8152 Kenwood on it(I believe that's the model number)

After like 6 months, it just shuts off. They say it's the amp. He just purchased a used MTX 202 to push them temporarily, they took the MTX out of another guy's truck(he had just listened to it play on the other guy's subs) and he puts it in his truck, hooks it up and nothing.

Inline fuse is fine, and I'm pretty **** certain the amp is fine - - - my question now is what in the hell would do that? Power is fine, from what I've found the remote is fine(although I will check over that again)...so what the hell would do that. Why would it just randomly cut off and not work for either amp?

He is an idiot and jacked the gains, but the subs arent getting power whatsoever. They're not moving

Still hooked up fine, I need to take them out of the box and check them(although he said he did, I cant say that I believe him)

Only thing I know to say is maybe he clipped the remote somehow????
