Amp only coming on in tuner mode

So I just set up my system in my truck. Got everything all wired up. Turn on the radio..BOOM..little bump, adjust the amp for my subs, everythings good. Switch over to a CD... nothing...switch to AUX nothing. All my wiring is right. Like I said the amp turns right on in tuner mode. And oh btw the headunit is a Kenwood kdc-mp4032 single din.

Some help or advice.

You must have hooked it into the power antenna wire, which may only put out power when the tuner is selected depending on the amp.

what amp? are you using rca's for the signal from the deck to the amp? might be a dodgy deck, make sure you check all your settings on the deck, worth even reseting the unit

The amp is a old school soundstream PCA2000D. And yes I'm using RCAs. And yea I was thinking about resetting the unit. Also with the antanna wire, good point. Didn't think about that. That's probably what I did knowing my luck. Lol

Yes it did fix it everybody. But once I cleaned up all the wires and mounted the amp, went to go test it now I have another issue, amp will not come on. But I will wait till later once it cools down to go mess with it.

ohhh god, remote wire not connect from the deck to the amp

also how do you no if it fixed the problem if the amp wont turn on?
