Amp number two

I've finally got enough coin to buy another amp. Im currently running one pdx 1.600 for two type rs. Tomorrow Im going to purchase another pdx 1.600. My question is will I need to purchase another battery? And will adding the other amp be a little overkill?

What ohms are your r's? Also what does your electrical consist of?

Stock battery and alternator. 1.3 farad capacitor. The type rs are currently at 2 ohms

Ok so I am assuming they are dual 2's then. I would suggest a battery in the back & do the big 3 under your hood if you havent done that already.

believe they are dual 4's. I've heard about the big 3 but I'm not sure what it is...

Your best bet is just to do a search on the forums about doing the big 3.
