Amp not playing low

I just installed a rockville RXD M-2 and I dont think its playing as low as the alpine I had before. I set the subsonic filter to 15 but it still seems like its missing low end. It can play a 20hz test tone it just doesnt sound as low as the alpine did on songs like late night tip. So is this my imagination or is the subsonic filter possibly junk?

All you did was swap amps? Nothing else?

Correct all I did was replace one amp with the other.

That's what I was thinking too. I was hoping maybe I overlooked something stupid but I am kind of thinking its a bad pot on the subsonic filter. Thanks

No problem Hope you get it fixed. I ran 2 of their 4 channels with no problems and was pretty surprised by the outcome for the price.

I bought it on amazon so I will return it I am just trying to decide if I should get the same amp or go for the m-3 its 250 watts more and only an extra 15 dollars. I just dont know if its even worth it I am super limited on room in my truck so all I have is a skar vd-10 love how it sounds but after bumping it with some test tones and music for about 5 minutes I started to smell coil with the m-2. To be perfectly honest the only reason I am thinking about the m-3 is because I have a old 15" re hc that I may try to fit in a rear center console box.
