What amp would you all recommend? I am a college student so money isn't that open. 3 or 4 of the 12 people that gave reviews for these subs said they use this amp and it makes them hit well. I know it's really cheap, but they said it hits really well.

I am in the market for exactly the same thing, I have the same subs only a few years old. Currently I am feeding them 150w from my Jensen 4 channel. I think they perform quite well for only feeding them half their rms.

Honestly I like the amp you linked, I have been looking for a little while now and haven't found too much for a decent price. Unless you can find a good deal on a used amp I would say go with that one. If you do pick it up or whatever you get let me know as I would like to find something too so I can flip my jensen amp to my full range speakers instead of running them off the HU.

I miss read the stats at first thinking it put out 320 watts per channel RMS but in any case if you get that and give each sub 160 I think you will be happy, I don't get massive flex or anything with my setup, but I can feel it all through the car including the steering wheel at times and will shake change in the ash tray on some songs, and that is seeled with only 150w per sub and in a trunk.

I did some more reseach, I had totally forgotten about profile amps, but I found this one which would feed them more power, its about $100 more though http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2215 or depending on how you want to wire your setup you could get something like this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-naiCluNBX15/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&I=489AP1000M or just about any amp that will put out something around 600 @ 2ohm

If I can talk myself into spending the money I think I may get that Profile AP2000

so I should go for that amp? lol so you basically want me to test the amp and let you know if it's ok? haha idk i'd rather you test it.
Yea lol sorry about that, I am just in the same boat as you, maybe we can find a third party who has already bitten the bullet. But no seriously I feel crutchfield is a little overpriced however I do trust them for what they sell and mainly feel they don't sell junk, maybe lower end stuff but total crap. They carry profile and the reviews of this amp look to be good http://www.crutchfield.com/S-naiCluNBX15/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&tab=review&i=489AP1000#Tab and like I said I really don't think you will find a better deal for that power and price, unless you find something used.

I think I am going to look into getting the AP2000 to feed more power to my subs. Hopefully someone else will come in here and chime in with some personal experience or another good deal, at least that way we can get a third opinion.
