amp mounting

i made a thing for my amp to sit in because i was bored...but would it be ok if i mount it on top of my box or would the screws rattle off and cause vibration sounding like shit?

if you mount the amps to your box, use some rubber feet under the amps. the vibration/flex from the box can cause the internals of the amp to screw up.

could just be a myth tho.

After a long time of vibration, it could weaken the solder, and eventually break, and componets could go flying around the amp.

But, for the most part, you dont have to worry about that these days. I would still, (like dkgutarist said) get some rubber feet, or some weather stripping and put under to help with vibration anyways. Its always better to be safe then sorry.
