amp mount

I know the trunk mounting was a joke, but just to let those who may not know much its a horrible idea for a ground, and soldering the ground wire isnt a good idea as well. I would say just some MDF and mount it there. Have it made to the shape of somethin you got in your trank and maybe drill some holes through the mdf so that it would screw to somewhere on the car. Also, dont mount your amp directly to metal, not a good idea, make sure somethin is in between. I wouldnt mount it on the box either unless you know what you're doing, because that could loosen up things in the internal of the amp and there goes that investment.

yes indeed a MDF buffer is a good idea between the amp and the chassis...but as far as mounting to the box? That doesn't matter. The vibrations the amp picks up won't be any different if it's mounted to the box or just sitting next to the box....so they can be mounted to the sides of enclosures with as little as 4 good bolts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
