amp makes no sound

OK. I just bought another Alpine MRD-M1005 but it will not put anything out to the subs. It powers on and everything but no sound. I have yet to check the outputs with a DMM. I have the same amp in my truck and it works with the same wiring. I'm pretty sure the dumbass that I bought the amp from had it wired to 1-ohm, and it's not stable that low. There is no sign of physical damage. I will post detailed pictures up later.

Any help on fixing this would be appreciated.

Have you checked the outputs with a DMM set to AC voltage yet.
