Amp light comes on (appears dim) no sound

I rigged up a radio to use while out in my shop. I bought a 200w 2-channel amp, (2) 6x9's, and just used an imput cable from my iphone. Worked like a charm the first time I used it. Now, after recharging the battery the power light comes on but it appears to be dim and there is no sound. I took the battery to the store and it checked out fine. Any suggestions of what is wrong and how to fix it?

By any chance does the charger you are using have a high voltage...specifically above 16v, and did you leabe the amp hooked up when you charged it? Also check to make sure both your iphone and cable are doing fine. Believe it or not I have had more than one person completly baffeled because they were getting no sound from the iPhone, so I checked to see if the volume was all the way down....apparently every now and then when you unplug 3.5mm from the phone it mutes....
