Amp lag... help

Noticing a good amount of lag time from the actual beat of the music in some songs *through my front fill* from when the subs hit it, would this be more power related *doing big 3 soon, bought lugs for it from weldingsuplly, wayy too big* or could it be shoddy RCA cables *bought those from Radioshack*

Are your subs sealed or ported?? If it's sealed then your box could have too high of a Qtc, which will make the bass will "lag". If it's ported, then the design might be wrong (box size & tuning hz).

But either way, it is probably more box/setup related then any kind of "amp lag".

box ported to 30hz, 2.9cu for a 12" RE HC, got it for 50 bucks with the sub.....kinda sloppy, was debating getting a sealed but i'm affraid i'll lose a good amount of *boom*

definitely an enclosure problem...amp has nothing to do with it.
