Amp Keeps Turning Off

Set up: -Kenwood Kac-9105D 1800-Watt Class D Mono Amplifier

-Dual 10" Kicker subwoofer

Problem: So my amp has been acting funny this past week or so. It started when I turned my car on and there was no bass at all. I checked all the wires and it all seemed fine. After work it started right up and was fine until a few days later. Over the past week or so it has slowly been shutting off more and quicker than before. The amp is not hot at all. I have had this system for about 2 years now and no problems with it until now. Now it doesnt even turn on 95% of the time. It doesnt go into protect mode either.

-I have replaced the ground wire and tried different spots.

-Unplugged most wires and reconnected them

-Got a new battery today as mine was dying

-Sanded down battery, ground spot and cable terminals

-The only thing left I can think of is to check the inline fuse and behind the head unit to make sure the remote wire is still good.

Any help would be appreciated as this is really getting on my nerves now and just want to fix it. Thank you guys for any help.

Def check the remote wire....had the same thing happen to me as my sub amp would just randomly come on/turn off. Turned out that whoever installed the amp didn't properly crimp the remote wire to the other remote wire coming out of the HU.

Yah, it ended up being the remote wire. When I pulled the HU out I noticed the electrical tape had pulled back a little. I originally soldered it a few years back and only put electrical tape over (lazy idea) instead of using the heat shrink stuff. The little bit of exposed solder must have came in contact with another wire or the back of the HU. Thanks for the help.
