Amp just Crapped out

Hey I just had an abahn a2300hct die on me. The frikin terminal came OUT of the amp + positive I think. Haven't ripped it out yet. I was just wondering what might have caused this. Running 1/0 gauge wire to fused dual distro block. 2 4 guage coming off of it. 1 to batcap 1 to amp then grounded. Sub is spg-555 Grassy *** in advanced

Also I'm not sure which happened first, but. The frickin plastic holding the terminal to the side of the amp melted and allowed it to fall out I was thinking loose connection, but my cables are in there stout like. so makes sense
