amp issues

i don't want to buy an amp i have one its having issues it a precision power pc650 classic amp unsure if it works though i have to jimmy rig a harness for it if anyone knows were i can get this harness that would be great send me a link for the harness. the power runs off monster wire the biggest stuff and the amp is only 650 watt i think anyway i hooked it up the biggest pop came from the terminal i had just took my battery off the charger it was complete after i tried to power the amp the battery went almost completely dead so can anyone offer me advice or thing i can do for this additional info the 50amp fuze isn't shorted thankx

Did you hook the power wire in while it was receiving 12V? It sounds like your battery drained its capacitance completely in in one fail swoop through the amplifier, shorting it out, and very possibly destroying some of the internal components

scary thought a 300 dollar amp for free is alot of money for me im thinking of running it on a motorcycle battery any thoughts
