Its not drawing current, its using the power left inside the capicators in the amp. Also try a reground and make it nice and clean as sbcaprice sudgested

req 5,000+ posts am a mod. 16,172 36 Syracuse, NY Sep 30, 2004 #4 this happened with my old HU. its what happens when the amp turns off after your HU. try throwing a switch on the REM line and turn your sub off before you turn your car off. would solve the problem i think.
