I know with my 98' Tahoe we needed to get something like an RCA jack. Thats where the problem enlies when installing on a factory system, there are no rca outs. Go to radio shack, BB or CC and ask them about it and they should be able to help you. Ask them which wires to splice into also. I cant really remember, it was a long *** time ago that I did it.

its the same concept as that part but built into the amp and then u just tap into ur rear speakers and it takes the high signals and converts them into lows for ur sub
