Amp installation (disregard last thread)

Ok, i got the power up and running. But now theres no sound... I got 2 rca splitters for each rca jack to seperate the rcas goin to both of my amps(2 rcas for my bass and my kicker 300.4 says i need 4 so i just split it more). i have sound to my bass but none to my other speakers. I'm pretty sure i have the speakers wired right but i dont know whats goin wrong. any help would be appreciated.

Take the red rca, split it and plug one end to each amp. Then do the same for the white rca. Check to see if the one of your amps has preouts?

yeah.. thats what i did, it all matches up. what are preouts? the only outputs i see are all filled w/ speaker wire, rcas, power, ground, and remote. when i get my car back from the shop ill try and double check all of my speaker wiring but i dont see why nothing would work.

Some amps have a set of pass through rcas., they are usefull if your h/u only has 1 set of preouts and you are running 2 amps.

Ok... I have bass to my mids but nothin else, is there any rca wires that filter out all things above a certain lvl? I had my bass installed professionally so maybe the people might have put in some treble blockers or sumthin ill have to check that, is this a procedure that you have ever heard of?

The signal coming from the head unit must be full range. Once you split the signal into 2 sets of rca's, One set will need a low pass crossover and the other will need a high pass crossover. If there is a low pass crossover before the splitters, you will only hear bass. If possible use the crossovers in the amps.

ok, i have narrowed it down to two things, either my HU (see below) isnt sending out all the frequencies thru the rca cables or my amp isnt filtering properly. how can i change the output from the rcas to send a full range? thanks for all the help

woo i fixed it, i read in my instruction manual that my head unit was filtering out all the non bass frequencies and now it sounds awesome. thanks a lot everybody (especially indosia) yall are great!
