quick question can i run the power wire from the fuse box under the hood to the amp or does it have to be on the battery. I ask this cause i have a grand prix and the battery has weird connections on it and its hard to get a good connection.

Must be from battery... Should run the largest gauge your amp will accept.

There are tons of affordable aftermarket battery terminals. If the terminal in your car is that "werid", just replace it...

so this would work? im just not sure waht the stock wire gauge is on my grand prix, is it 8?
