I have done everything I can to try and figure out what the problem with my installation. When everything is hooked up, there is a hissing sound that can be heard, and there's a popping sound when you turn the volume to 0 and when you raise the volume, the hissing comes back. So far, I've tried using different RCA cables and speaker cables. It's not the amp because the hissing isn't there when the RCA aren't plugged into it, and it's not the speaker wires because there is no hissing sound when we plug the speaker wires back into the speakers. Thus, there should be no problem with the head unit too. I grounded the amp to the seat cushion bolt in the back (right onto the chassis). I also used a multimeter and it shows that it is a good ground. I can't think of anything else that it can be. I'm thinking it's a ground issue somewhere, but I can't get it. I
I was reading something on my Metra wiring guide and it says that there is a black/white amp ground wire, but I don't see this. I just see the solid black ground wire which I already have connected. Any help would be great guys. Thanks
