Amp Install Problems in '02 Civic

I have done everything I can to try and figure out what the problem with my installation. When everything is hooked up, there is a hissing sound that can be heard, and there's a popping sound when you turn the volume to 0 and when you raise the volume, the hissing comes back. So far, I've tried using different RCA cables and speaker cables. It's not the amp because the hissing isn't there when the RCA aren't plugged into it, and it's not the speaker wires because there is no hissing sound when we plug the speaker wires back into the speakers. Thus, there should be no problem with the head unit too. I grounded the amp to the seat cushion bolt in the back (right onto the chassis). I also used a multimeter and it shows that it is a good ground. I can't think of anything else that it can be. I'm thinking it's a ground issue somewhere, but I can't get it. I

I was reading something on my Metra wiring guide and it says that there is a black/white amp ground wire, but I don't see this. I just see the solid black ground wire which I already have connected. Any help would be great guys. Thanks

Working with:

Pioneer DEH-P5900ib

Infinity Reference 475A

The sound coming from the stereo is white noise. It happens when the car is in the on position and the same thing happens when the engine is running as well. I've been reading around the internet and there is some talk about a "micro-fuse" for the RCA that can easily blow during an installation. I'm thinking this may be the problem since I've tested the amp, head unit, speaker wires, and RCA cables already.

does it make a whine when you accelerate? Cuz that's engine whine, I can't get rid of mine either. Also an '02 civic lol.

What did help me however, is that I separated the wiring harness from the RCA wires so that they don't touch as much behind the headunit. Then I grounded the RCA. Doing that really killed the noise for me, I still get some though. But better than what i used to have. Also, you may want to try a new ground for the headunit if you haven't already
