Does it really matter hwt kit you get, I mean don't they essentially do the same thing? As long as the gauge is right does it really matter if the wire has 7 coats of plastic or a heavy duty shield? I'm asking because I a looking at a dual amp kit at wally world ( scosche) and it would meet my need perfectly and has an attractive price.....but I don't wanna make the mistake of getting straight garbage that would jeporadise my cars safety.....

then get it, wire is wire. as long as you install it safely, etc. its fine.

I used scoche wire for a while, never had a problem with it. As you said, as long as its the correct gauge you won't have a problem.

its fine. the only real difference between different brand wires is

1) flexability

2) true gauge size (some companies claim its 1/0, but the jacket is 3/4 of the actual wire, so in all actuality, its like 8 gauge)

its all the same really. just find one that looks about right and you're set.

yessir. i bought 2 of them for $81 shipped a piece quite a while ago. best kit around IMO.

I've used the dual amp kit from wally world (the same scosche one) before. Not as flexible as some of the stuff I've used, but the wire is usually pretty close to what they say it is
