hi there,

I was reading on JL 1000/1 manual that you have to disconnect the negative battery post conecction and secure it to prevent accidental re-connection, and connect it back after everything elese has been installed.

Ive never done this, could Ive burned my amps?

Everything works perfect, just asking because Ive never done it...

My truck has 2 batteries since its a diesel truck, now for all my amp changes in the future, should I disconnect the negative battery terminal on both batteries?

THX again

Oh yah, I do it half the time, you're suppose to everytime, but I hate losing my settings. It is a good measure to take from now on though, but no it doesn't do any long term affects or anything.
