amp inputs

Yes you can split it, sounds like a 4 ch amp and a hu with sub out only though, might not work I'm really not sure but not all hu have just one set mine has 5 sets.

Yes it is a 4 channel amp- the hu has separate sub out- which goes to a self amplified sub. A pro installer put in the amp last year- but it has never powered all the speakers. The out from the head unit goes via RCA to the amp- input front. The other input comes from the HU speaker wires through a converter to the amp rear inputs via rca from the converter. If I plug either output to the front input those speakers work- 3 from one side- or hook up the other then the other two work. But no matter how I scramble the inputs- I can never get all five speaker to run at the same time? Please help- thanks

if you just plug in one set of rca's to the input side of the amp does the corresponding output work? front and rear? can you use the front rca only and plug it in the front and have the front play, then plug in the rear and have the rear work? then try same step wwith the rear rca and see what happens. Make sure both front and rear outputs work by swapping the rca from the front to rear inputs. Then try same steps with the rear rca's. My guess is that one set of rca's is inop.
