The viper looks nice but to much, what about a Hifonics BX1500? Or is that to much power?

That doesn't make it the best amp.

Well i can't afford the best amp. I just need a decent reliable amp because my MTX crapped out on me.

The JBL is well within your price range, and you can find the RF amps I listed within your price range as well. Both of which are (IMO) better than the Hifonics. The Viper is an excellent amp as well if you can scrounge up another $30 to pay the shipping.

Ok i was gonna buy the JBL 600 because of the cheap price, but i already built a ported box, and the JBL doesnt have a SSF. Can i buy a sub sonic filter for this amp or what? Please help!

Ok how many watts can i get out of this thing? I have my SE12 wired at 2 ohms. I just need a good cheap amp with a sub sonic filter....

I have the Hifonics BX1000d@ 2ohm on the 12inch SE right now and it sounds good. I had the JL 500/1 and I can't tell any difference. There are other amps out there but if you become impatient go ahead and get the 1000 or the 1500 wire it to 2 ohms and it will push the sub to full excursion. But don't not get an amp becasue of 30 or 50 bucks....cough it up. If you get the another SE and you have the 1500 then that would be a perfect 1 ohm setup for 2 SE's. I'll sell you my JL 500/1.
