Hey I'm new here and looking for help purchasing an amp for my sub. I currently have a Rockford Fosgate P1 1X12 sub.

A friend recommended a Rockford Fosgate R750 1D amp to me.

I just want to know if this would be a good purchase. If you have any recommendations please feel free. I want to stay under $450 and the system will be going in to a 97 Cherokee so space isn't an issue.
