That's a shame. Because you could get a single SA8 v2 subwoofer & absolutely ***** all over your buddies dual 12" kickers with 1 little 8" sub.

or a single 12" skar vvx, and kill low notes, and your friends would be like "why cant my kickers do that?"

How much did he pay for his setup? I am not really looking for top of the line equipment, I am just looking to get some decent bass. I plan on getting a new mustang within the next year or so that I will be looking to put a lot of money into a really nice sound system. But for my 1993 honda accord I am only trying to spend at most $500.

if you did everything with this woofer, youd be looking at right about 400...a little less if you buy this form me, cause you wouldnt pay full price obviously.

Ok so say if I bought 2 vvx skar 12" Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofers then what would be a good amp to power them.

DC Audio, DD, PSI, SA, SSA, Fi, and more are all good companies with good woofers. Take a look around and see what you would like. Search on this forum for some opinions and box requirements for each, and then when you're informed, start looking for something then. Don't rush into something just because someone is selling it, especially if it isn't a rare/custom sub.

get some knukonceptz 1/0 for your Big 3, 4awg power/ground, RCAs, & speaker wire.... $100

go to diyma.com & order 20sq of b-stock alpha mat deadener, enter promo FIRE...$60

search the classifieds for a quality used amp that does around 1000w rms... *make sure they have plenty of feedback as good seller* ....$150 or so

$550 +/- a few bucks.....

do your Big 3, run power & grounds, sound deaden trunk, mount amp, install SA8 v2 & sweet box, properly tune gear, talk mad **** to your buddy w/ the kickers, blow his system away with a wittle bitty 8" sub.

hey guys thanks for helping me sell my extra woofer im not using..

either way man, dont go kicker, just cause your friend says their good.. i got my 12" for sale if your interested check out psi as well i currently have 4 psi 15s and love em to death.. but you will be much happier with somethin else.

put this (1) skar on 1k true rms and it'll blow the kicker out the box, as with any of the forementioned subwoofers, as for the sundown sa8 v2 im not sure how low they can get... but they handle power like a mofo.

if you were to buy (2) skar vvx 12's you would be surpassing your budget they are 195$ brand new, then you would have He77 trying to find an amp that would do over 1200 rms at 2 ohms... stick with one woofer,

i will try to get you a vid of the single skar setup i just finished.. kid wanted sound quality install.. not only did he get that, he also got probably the loudest single 10"-15" sub setup in my area

my 2 exile subs are brand new in the box 500rms each american made and designed by the origional phoenix gold engineers, amazing subs. they were 299 each msrp when they were released. 200 shipped for both of them 2 you and then you can get an amazing custom ported box for the price you are getting thos crappy kickers for.

ps they are d4 each and they wire to 1 ohm and finding a 1000 rms amp at 1 ohm is easy and cheap no problem
