Amp Help

Ok, so a buddy of mine gave me his American Legacy 1000 watt, 2 channel amp because he no longer needs it. Since I am not good with this stuff, I decided I'm going to take it to a shop to have it installed. My question is, will this kit be all that I need to successfully install this amp? Will I need anything else?

My 2nd question, by installing this amp, will it give me better sound quality overall? I'm not exactly sure what it will do.

Current set up:

JVC - 50W x 4 MOSFET In-Dash CD Deck

Sony 6" x 9" 4-Way Speakers, 300 Watts Power Handling

Infinity - 4" x 6" 2-Way Car Speakers

I wouldnt go with 10awg, I mean I suppose you could get by with it but atleast get 8awg and if plan to upgrade ever do 4awg.

Ok, thanks. How about my sound quality? will it improve?

Im not sure that sound quality will improve, but it should be louder.

you should be able to turn it MUCH louder with a lot less distortion.
