Amp Help.

I have a 1ohm stable amp(kenwood kac-9103d )I know the amp is not the best,but anyway,my sub is dual 1.8 ohm,I have it wired parallel and I am getting .9 ohm,it sounds nice,but when I turn it up the amp goes into protect for about 30 seconds,what could be the problem?Is running the amp at .9 effecting that much if it's suppose to be 1 ohm stable I didn't think that is a big difference,how can I fix this?

How high is your input level? Kenwood kac amps blow. Literally.

it won't be .9 it will be 1ohm with imp rise no problem

Not to sure if .1 ohm load under is your problem. I had the 850 watt kac amp that is 2 ohm stable running at 1 0hm and never had a problem. Playing music and doing full volume tones.

Who knows though. I'm starting to think amps are like engines. Every one even the same models are different /shrug.
