amp help

Im gonna get 2 12inch jl audio w3's this week but I need to know a few things.I have seen you can buy them with 4 or 2ohm voice coils which ones should I get, and also will a rockford fosgate bd500.1 be a good amp to run them.

you can get them in dual 2,4,6 ohm, get the 4ohm version and series the coils on each speaker, this would give you 8ohm total for each woofer, then parallel the woofers together to produce a 4ohm mono load, your amp will work great under this condition, if you got the dual 2ohm version and do it the same way your mono resistance would be 2ohms, Rocford doesn't like a mono 2ohm load.

So is the bd500.1 the right amp to run them then?
