Amp help!

Im about to purchase an amp. But i wanna get an amp that maybe down the road i can add another sub too. The Sub im getting is 600w rms, but im not sure if it's going to be enough. So ill probably want 1200W. correct?

http://sonicelectronix.com/item_5459.html here is the sub I'm going to be powering. Id like to stick with the Soundstream Tarantula series Amps just cuz i already have one powering my components. Id just really like to know what to look for in an amp so that maybe i can add another one of these subs to it later on down the road. Im kinda leaning toward the TRA1400.2

Ummm..What sub are you running now....And what do you have plans on Doing....Also there is nothing wrong with a little bit of headroom
