Amp Help

I bought a Clarion APA450,(couldnt resist the price & free shipping), I have it installed and it works. Im amazed since its my first time install. ANyways, I only had time to hook up the rear speakers, and they work fine. My qeustion is, on the amp, there are two sets of RCA jacks. Front and rear. I have the RCA jacks from the HU going to the rear right now since I only hooked up the rear tonight. But, how do I hook up the RCA jacks to get the front and rear speakers running off the amp? My Alpine HU onoly has one set of RCA jacks. I looked through the instructions several times, I dont see anything about the RCA hookups with one set of RCAjacks on HU. Im geussing from other posts ive seen I will need some sort of Y-adapter for my RCA plugs?? Luckily I am looking to upgrade to a newer HU in the future,(distant future). Geuss I will make sure it has F&R RCA jacks. Will I lose any amp performance using a Y-adapter? Sound, watts..etc...?? Can I install the Y-adapter at the amp? Or at the HU? I would geuss it wouldnt matter. I would prefer to install the y-adapters at the amp cause its easier to get to.

Certainly it would be the easiest way adding the Y-splitters at the amp itself for ease of access but it can potentially be done at the head unit as well if that was your fancy.

To do it at the amp itself you'll want a pair of one female to two male Y-splitters, like this.

thanks for the replies.......as soon as I get a chance i'll go pick a pair of y-splitters up. So far I am very impressed with the way the amp makes the rear speakers sound. Im not into the big boom of subs, and these Blaupunkt 6x9 have some very nice clean crisp bass in them. Cant wait to see how the fronts will sound with them.
