mmm...tubes...it's a rebuilt Dyna ST-70 with a *lot* of mods to it, new matched quad of EL34 drivers, does around 30 watts per channel.

well, since this is a home amp, by "ricebox" I was referring to Denon, Onkyo, Sony, Panasonic, JVC, etc, etc...although they may be excellent units, there's something about seeing the filaments glowing away that gets me every time...

I'll admit, the only tube amps I have actually heard/used were guitar amps by Marshall, Fender, Peavey, ect... They all had their fair share amount of distortion. Cost a pretty penny to.

Just watch out for that red glow

arc's are very purdy amps, indeed.
