Amp Guidance

Hey guys it's my first time venturing into car audio, and audio overall and i needed some help.

I don't know which amp to get. I am upgrading my stock sub in the tahoe to a Kicker 40CWRT82 8" sub. Would link the sub but guess I can't because I'm a new user.

Now i know it is a DVC 2ohm sub (so 4 ohm total right), but what ohm amp should i be looking for?

Also i am guessing a amp with a RMS watt rating of 500-600 should be fine correct? And if somebody is selling the kind of amp I am looking for used i would be glad to buy it off you.

If anyone can guide me the right way i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

you could save a decent amount money if you buy a amp thats the rms you need at 1 ohm and not 4

audiotechnix is having a blowout sale on their old brand name. you could probly get one of their 750.1 for cheap

Can you explain the advantage or disadvantage of it real quick? also i'm having trouble finding that brand for sale any links?
