Amp grounding questions...

Hey guys. Ive heard various things about grounding amplifiers. Im just wondering which is better to do. 1st... is it better to get a connector for the chassis side of the ground, than to use just stripped wire? Also, ive heard it should be as short as possible. Is that also true?

Don't use just stripped wire...

Keeping it as short as possible is usually a good idea, yes...but not required.

best ground in a car is back to the battery itself. period. any SOLID piece of unpainted metal that is connected to the chassis via welds or bolts should be sufficient

The best ground is the one with least resistence. Period.
