amp going to protect?

i have a performance teq 3000w that keeps going into protect as sonn as i raise the volume ...i have had this amp for a while running 2 15's but now that i bought to 12's with much more power it keep going into protect...they are still being wired the same at 1 ohm...can somebody help me out
