Amp going out

I know I am not providing much information but any help will be greatly appreciated. My Kicker 650.4 amp use to get really hot after about 30 min of constant play then would shut off for a little bit. Now Amp will cut within 15 min withou the Amp being Hot. I. Also Have a Kicker 1500.1 running for square 8's in a Dodge Caliber. Factory Battery and alt. Thanks in advance
