have you checked your ground yet?

also make sure that your ground is getting good contact and theres not paint on what ever bolt or whatever you used to ground it on

There is paint on the area where the ground is but it wasn't a problem for two months. Could that cause the amp to all of a sudden stop working after 2 months?

yes, bad grounds can just show up one day.
