Amp going into protect mode

 I have a bowl that I added to speakers to my four channel amp. I now have a total of six speakers. I put two of the speakers on the front channels of the amp along with Two other speakers.  I basically tied the positives together of two speakers and hooked them to the amp.   Now after about two minutes playing loudly my app started to cut out and goes into protect mode.  I tried turning the game down on that channel and it still doing it. Any suggestions of what the problem is
