So i installed my audiopipe 1500D had it wired to one ohm on 2 12" type r's and then smoke came out of one of the type R's and within 20minutes it cooked and was solid as a rock when i pushed down on it. Luckily alpine replaced it.

But i took the amp to get checked out by my friend and he says the the ground is giving off a charge or something along those lines. im not exact on what he said but supposedly the ground should have no voltage coming from it right? so we tried to install it again and the AP flickers on and off from power to proctection and the subs make a popping sound.

i know its not the install because my other AP1500 works on it and so does my hifonics amp. any ideas?
