So I was driving along jamming out to some music today, and my subs all of sudden stop playing. As I'm looking for a place to stop and figure out what happened my subs start working again, and then few mins later stop working again. So I stop and check out to see what's going on and notice that my amp is burning hot. So I unplug my rca cables, figuring that without any signal my amp would cool down. After about an hour later of driving around running errands i checked it to see if it had cooled down. Well it didnt, it had only got hotter. I had to pull the power cable so it would cool down. Wierd thing is that it didn't go in to protect. My amp is a Sundown saz 1200d. I have a high output alt, I have the big 3 done, and I am using 0 gauge wire as my power and ground for my amp. It has never gotten even slightly hot for the few years I have owned it. Any help as to what's wrong would be greatly appreciated.
