Amp Gain

Google how to set amplifier gain. You'll need your amp specs, a dmm, something to play tones and a brain. Your welcome //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Absolutely!! Sarcasm aside there is a few ways to set your gain. The dmm method is the simplest. Setting by ear won't do you much good as most novice users will go well into clipping to get it to sound like what they think it should. If you want longevity then set the gain properly, if its not loud enough then upgrade.

The muffled sound you mention could be the box though. Those 8's like a lot of port.
